Strength, Balance, Posture with Lauren | Gentle
Keeping your bones healthy is a lifelong endeavor, and it’s never too early or late to get started! This Strength Balance Posture class with Lauren is designed to build strength in a balanced way and is safe for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia. Lauren will focus on increasing the strength of your muscles and bones while also challenging your balance. And, you’ll improve your postural muscles along the back side of your body.
This Gentle level is geared to those who may have difficulty maintaining balance on foot or standing for long periods. Much of this workout is done seated and students are encouraged to use a wall, rail or chair to help support balance challenges.
Suggested props: chair, theraband, light hand weights (2-5lbs).
