Strength, Balance, Posture with Lauren | Level 2
Keeping your bones healthy is a lifelong endeavor, and it’s never too early or late to get started! This Strength Balance Posture class with Lauren is designed to build strength in a balanced way and is safe for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia. Lauren will focus on increasing the strength of your muscles and bones while also challenging your balance. And, you’ll improve your postural muscles along the back side of your body.
This Level 2 class is geared towards students with some experience working out and looking for an energetic and challenging workout. Students at this level are encouraged to work with heavy weights that increase strength and challenging balance exercises on one leg. There is also some optional jumping and running.
Suggested props: mat, foam roller, chair, therabands (continuous and long), 1-2 sets of medium hand weights (5-8lbs).
